History

I purchased my first miniature schnauzer in 1979 from a good friend.  At the time, I knew nothing about the breed.  I just knew I had a very cute puppy.  Over the years, I learned the standards of the breed and to appreciate a well bred, structurally correct dog.

In 1981, I purchased my second miniature schnauzer, a female named "Pistol".  Pistol was sired by AKC Champion Skyline's Scorpion.  Pistol had one litter – sired by AKC Champion Ruedesheim's Entrepeneur, owned by Anne Lockney.  This litter produced AKC Champion Lone Tree's Johnny Be Good, CD.  Through the years I maintained contact with Anne Lockney.  Anne has been breeding and raising top miniature schnauzers for many years.  Her Ruedesheim dogs are known world wide.

In 1994, I acquired a female puppy that would provide the foundation for my breeding program.  Ruedesheim Crystal Bojangles, "Crystal", is a daughter of AKC Champion Blythewood Ewok Von Der Stars and AKC Champion Ruedesheim's Famed Bojangles, "Fortune".  Fortune is a great granddaughter of AKC Champion Lone Tree's Johnny Be Good, CD.   Crystal has produced four champion progeny and is an American Miniature Schnauzer Club (AMSC) top producing dam.  Crystal is the dam of AKC Champion Premier's Sudden Impact, AKC Champion Premier's You R My Sunshine, AKC Champion Premier's Magnum Force, and AKC Champion Premier's Never Say Goodbye.  Crystal is unique in that she has produced champion offspring of all three colors.

Mating Crystal to AKC Champion Sunshine Palace S. Blue Blood, produced "Impact" and "Sunshine".   AKC Champion Sunshine Palace S. Blue Blood was one of the top winning dogs in Japan.  AKC Champion Premier's Magnum Force, "Rowdy", is sired by AKC Champion Kelly's Rave Review.  Both Impact and Rowdy are black in color; Sunshine is black and silver.  Ch Premier's Never Say Goodbye, "Abby", is salt and pepper.

AKC Champion Ruedesheim's Innocent Blush came to live with me in 1996.  Blush lived to be sixteen years old before she passed away in February 2008.  Blush’s legacy includes 11 champion progeny, and she was AMSC top producing dam.  AKC Champion Ruedesheim's Coming Up Roses, "Rosie", is a daughter of Blush and AKC Champion Ruedesheim's Billionaire.

AKC Champion Premier's Affair to Remember, "Cricket",  a black female whose parents are Impact and Rosie completed her championship requirements October 9, 2004.  Rosie was retired after producing her last litter.  That litter included AKC Champion Premier's Maximillian, "Max", and AKC Champion Premier's Girl Outlaw, "Jewel", sired by AKC Champion Premier's Sudden Impact.  Jewel is Rosie's third champion and Impact's sixth champion.  Rosie, by producing three AKC champion progeny, is an AMSC top producing dam.  Impact is one of only twenty-two AMSC black top producing miniature schnauzer sires with six AKC champion progeny.

In December 2001 I acquired AKC Champion Dynasty's Fashion Page, "Joslin".  Joslin's dam, AKC Champion Dynasty's Title Page, is a full sister to AKC Champion Ruedesheim's Innocent Blush.  AKC Champion Dynasty's Title Page, "Ti", won the Montgomery Kennel Club Miniature Schnauzer Specialty in 1992.  In 2005, Joslin became an AMSC top producing dam with four champions.  Three of these progeny, AKC Champion Dynasty's Premier Shogun, AKC Champion Dynasty's Scarlett O'Hara, and AKC Champion Contempra's Charmed One, are sired by AKC Champion Premier's Sudden Impact.
