Her first weekend in the show ring Abby won best of breed under judge Ann Hearn in Oklahoma City. Abby exhibits outstanding movement and transition. I was honored when veteran breeder, Anne Lockney, told me Abby was one of the most beautiful bitches she had ever seen.

Jewel's five point major win in Louisville, KY, March 16, 2007. Jewel completed her championship requirements on March 31, 2007 in Claremore, OK with a Group 2 win. Jewel is named in loving memory of my cousin, country music legend Sammi Smith (born Jewel Fay Smith), who passed away in 2005. Doug and Mandy Carlson handled Jewel. |
